Lost in the land of spices...

Today we ventured into the land of spices, thieves, and beggers....we exited out of the Spice Market in the wrong side of town and were lost for hours. We came upon the University full of protesters and policia because of the recent activity in the Gaza Strip..... all in all, things are good here.....carpets, kilims, and wine...

Day 2 in Istanbul

Today, we woke up late and went to Hagia Sophia and then was too late for the Blue Mosque. We went to the sea front and was not totally impressed. We have been walking between 8-10 miles a day so far. We like the call to prayer and decent prices.

We got into Istanbul last evening.

Hey Peeps,
We are here sitting at an outside cafe after seeing Aya Sophia. Thinking that we may have to stay an extra day just get our bearings. Pics soon to come.

T- 24 Hours

Hey, we are off to Istanbul tomorrow. Don't worry too much people. We are not planning going to Athens now. Riots are not our style! Rome however seems quite attractive at the moment. Never seen the Sistine Chapel!
