Izmir
Today we got to Izmir. our one hour flight took 3 and we had to push past babushka ladies! Sarah met us at the airport. Her place is great. We went out for a drink and then a little food. The sunsetting on the Aegean was beautiful but none of remembered to take a camera. tommorow we are renting a car and going to Ephesus. Will try again to post pics. But it seems so damn slow....

Just heard about the Gaza incident and the demonstrations in Turkey--you're seeing it hit the fan, no?! We miss you!!!
I went to Pacific Rim last night. Papa Sham was glad I stepped up in the world by bringing a new friend rather than being with you two! He was also interested in your trip. He thinks women in Albuquerque never dress up so don't go to heavey on buying jewelry. He wants a full report upon your return.
We love you Alex and Pow Pow! No troubles lately, everything is fine for now. Did walk into a demonstration while in Istanbul(by mistake!); we got out of there tout suite!
