Needless to say, I left the cigars in the room....
Upon arriving into Seattle, we came across a spectacular oyster bar and proceeded to engage in the drinking of vodka. These were not ordinary shots of vodka; these contained oysters and all the condiments. Three hours later, and more drinks than could be counted we marched up the hill to yet another pub and had a beer with Bill Clinton (see photos). The rest of the evening became a dream sequence and is left up to your imagination.
The following morning, it was time for a maple syrup meltdown....our poor Jennifer in all of her traveling wisdom, somehow forgot she had packed a $40 bottle of maple syrup in her carry on luggage. Let me tell you folks, this wasn't pretty...the TSA promptly seized the syrup and created a melt-down of the greatest magnitude. She was inconsolable(spl) for hours and took two emergency pills.AND a bloody mary!!! TSA can suck it!!!!!
For those of you who might be wondering about Jenny's prospects for moving to either Seattle or Vancouver: Fear NOT! Theres no place like home in little ol' green chile filled Albuquerque.

We arre still alive
okay folks, we made it to Granville Island, Gastown, and the outdoor market in China town. West Hasting wasn't as bad in the evening after everyone on the street had their fix for the day.
Today we went to Stanley Park and saw the totem poles, the rose garden, and ventured on to China Town to have dim sum. We are heading back to Seattle tomorrow, via the quick shuttle......
will post pictures at a later time.

Day from Hell - Today better be better!
It all started lovely - we woke up with a newspaper and coffee waiting at our door!We had a leisurely morning, got ready, ate in the pretty rose gardens by the Empress, and then caught the bus that went to the BC ferries and on to Vancouver. On the way we saw cute little harbour seals.
Got to the hotel and Satan's foul breath set upon us in the form of downtown, Vancouver! Our hotel is neck and neck with the Seattle one. That one made me think of shooting up and dying; grunge-style. This one is; well the tv works better..... the view is spectacular(not).
We started off with positive attitudes trying to find Gas Town. Well, we found: skid row, blood alley, ambush alley, cracktown, and or a place that could easily double for any number of zombie-eating people movies that the kids watch. It was truely discusting. We have all seen homeless and druggies and drunks. This was a whole new category of scarey shit! In the space of maybe 15 minutes; we saw a chick shooting up between her fingers in the middle of the street; some guy shit his pants in mid stride and another freak tok'in on a crack pipe while walking along the the kid's soccer park.
It was more than anything Sunita has ever seen and she has been all over the world. I think Holland should be respected more after seeing this spectacle. cops on every corner and still not feeling safe.
We finally got back to our hotel; and hope to try again today. Through public transit or cabs...
Toni's knees and my back can't handle it.
Sorry folks, no photos from the day. Will get happier today.

Kathy and Mike; Toni and Jenny want to know how our babies are doing..
In the mean time; here are some photos.
Susan, and Melissa; we think you should buy this castle. Fully furnished, ofcourse....
we thought of you all through it.
Also Jenny found a higher calling: she won't clean her own house; but put her in a castle and she is vacuuming.

Today was a day. It was a very good day; it was day so full of fun and frolic we did laugh, we peed our pants, and did the pee pee dance, it was a very good day. Lets retrace our steps, we went to the Craigdarroch Castle and attempted covert activities via interloping in untouched rooms, setting off dumb-waiter alarms and blaming it on Toni at all costs. We were noticed?
Okay, after the castle debacle, and signing autographs, we were off to an afternoon of whale watching with Caption Stubbing and Gilligan. Okay, There have been two life-threatening events involving enclosed spaces...{Toni in and elevator, and Sunita in the speed-boat toilet] both events ending with the utterance of "hey you guys"..
Whale watching was fabulous; we saw humpback and killer whales within 20 feet of our boat. Our captain was a wanker, but he gave good personality.
oh, there is too much laughing and sleepiness to post more or pics at this time.
Thanks for all your comments(not)....except karen, susan and anonymous

Toni's Take on yesterday
Yesterday we completed the forced march from hell - to find someone to fix Toni's computer. Lugged the laptop around for hours to the needle. The kids were more impressed with the helocopter on the roof than the needle. Then we went to Pike's market where the Nazi cheese lady talked nasty to Jenny and we know not to talk mean to Jenny. According to the hotel staff four peole were killed at the market the day before - we suspect the cheese lady was involved. Huffed it back to the hotel - where Jenny ran up the mammoth hill with the laptop and felt like she was 16.
Went shopping where Sunita bought lovely clothes and boots for $13.00. We ate Ethiopian food - it was so so. Hit a wall and crashed in the room. We threw out a pair of underwear out the window with Toni's measurements and astrological sign - the mother ship arrived and we were shortly drinking koolaid...ok Jenny was just smoking with a bum but that is how Sunita remembers it!

Hi there fans...we made it safe and sound to our first destination with one lost bag and a few xanax moments. Jenny's bag was found and now all is right with the world. We ate raw oysters and clam chowder. We did the meth-march up the hill and met some guy named Chris whose grandmother was the vp of MGM. She hung out with the rat-pack and Grace Kelly.
Today we go to the space needle and whatever else fancies us.
here are some pics.
Ok this damn thing wont let us post pictures. hopefully soon people!
